New Team Site Producer, New York Yankees

Responsibilities:

• Research, write, and edit articles related to the New York Yankees, appearing on external outlets and executing sponsorships to promote team sites.
• Assign posts to contributors, manage budget and scheduling, and provide feedback to a staff of freelancers for effective site management.

Audience and Strategy:

• Implement content strategies from MLB editorial leadership, using social media and analytical tools like Google Analytics to build and monitor audience growth.
• Attend regular meetings to refine strategy and collaborate on generating editorial ideas and sponsorship opportunities both locally and nationally.

Community Engagement:

• Work with editorial leadership to engage the site’s community by creating and moderating Feed posts that spark conversation around games and fandom.
• Regularly interact in the Comments section, starting new conversations and replying to existing ones to keep discussions active and inclusive.
