Senior Accountant

About the job:

• The Senior Accountant is part of a finance team helping to bring specialty coffee and delicious food to our markets.
• Acts as a liaison between accounting and real estate (60%) and supports the accounting function (40%).
• Reports to the Business Controller, US, and is remote with geographic requirement near San Francisco Bay Area.

You Will:

• Complete complex accounting tasks related to all areas of the income statement and balance sheet.
• Be the lead accountant for Property Accounting for over 80 locations.
• Identify areas to improve and streamline current accounting processes.

You Are:

• Organized with deep attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work independently and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously.
• A strong communicator: clear, honest, and direct; able to give and receive feedback constructively.

You Have:

• 3+ years of corporate accounting experience and good knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience using NetSuite, Excel, Adaptive Planning, Floqast, Coupa, Square.
• Experience performing multi-location property accounting and reading lease agreements.
