HELOC Closing & Delivery Manager

Process Documentation & Improvement:

• Help develop and document HELOC closing and investor-delivery checklists, LOS workflows, and quality-control standards.
• Identify recurring issues in the closing-to-sale process and recommend improvements as the program grows.

Pre-Closing File Review & Readiness:

• Review HELOC files following credit approval to confirm prior-to-closing conditions, disclosures, and closing documents are complete.
• Review title commitments, lien searches, payoff statements, and subordination agreements to confirm lien position.
• Confirm collateral and insurance requirements are met, including property valuation and flood zone determination.

Closing Coordination & Communication:

• Coordinate with settlement agents, borrowers, and investors to schedule and complete in-person, hybrid, and RON eClosings.
• Serve as the borrower’s primary point of contact from clear-to-close through funding, explaining the signing process and rescission periods.

Post-Closing & Investor Delivery:

• Coordinate the transition of closed HELOC loans into the investor sale and delivery pipeline.
• Track recording of security instruments and trailing documents, and prepare investor delivery packages.
• Serve as the day-to-day contact for investor counterparts, resolving discrepancies and supporting timely purchase.
