Investigations Manager, Special Investigations Squad

The Investigation Manager will join Monzo’s Financial Crime Operations (Ops) Special Investigations team. You will manage approximately 4 investigators focused on investigating insiders. As an Investigation Manager, you will be responsible for managing the personal and professional development of your team members, providing technical coaching on investigations, driving exceptional individual and collective performance, guiding individuals through hard times and celebrating their successes. You’ll hold regular meetings with your team members (both individually and together as a team) to ensure everyone is informed, engaged, and performing in their roles. You’ll also be responsible for aggregating the feedback that your team provides in these meetings and feeding up to Fraud Risk, to ensure we continue to improve on our processes and protect Monzo. You’ll play a key role by making sure investigations are conducted fairly and properly; managing risks and making sure correct and consistent outcomes are being reached; managing the personal & professional development of approximately 4 Senior Fraud Investigators; fostering an empathetic, high-performance culture in the team. The manager will provide technical coaching, feedback, and advice relating to insider investigations; analyse and drive improvement in team performance, and reporting relevant insights, and monitor and maintain service level adherence on the work completed by the team.
