• Design and produce high-quality motion graphics and fully animated 3-5 minute videos from the ground up.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and develop concepts and storyboards.

• Participate in recorded sessions with end users to gather requirements.
• Create 2–3 versions of requested cartoon/comic animations or motion sequences using Adobe After Effects based on user needs.
• Record your workflow, including screen capture and narration, demonstrating how you approach animation, timing, visual storytelling, and composition.

They are seeking experienced Cartoons & Comics Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with strong Adobe After Effects expertise to participate in recorded project sessions. In this role, you will work directly with end users to understand their needs, develop custom animated or motion-based cartoon/comic content, and present multiple creative options—while clearly explaining your process and decision-making.

• Design visuals for Unexplainable weekly video podcast episodes, working closely with show production teams to deliver weekly episodes by deadline
• Working closely with the Unexplainable team and with oversight from Vox’s Art Director to develop a visual look and graphics package for the show, Create original assets and templates for videos and video podcasts.
• Collaborate closely with editorial leadership, Vox’s other art director, and video producers.
