Lead Financial Technology Strategy: Define and execute the Finance and Accounting Technology roadmap, integrating it with Maven’s broader business strategies. Drive the adoption of AI and other emerging technologies to revolutionize financial processes. Architect & Optimize Financial Systems: Own the end-to-end architecture of our financial reporting ecosystem (including NetSuite, Bill.com , Teampay, Navan, Expensify, Zip, proprietary systems). Ensure seamless data integration and serve as the definitive subject matter expert. Evaluate emerging technologies and tools in the context of Maven’s business process and make recommendations to the Accounting and Finance teams on opportunities to drive automation via new ERP and tool adoption. Drive Automation & Process Intelligence: Spearhead transformative process improvements and automation opportunities, leveraging AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy within Accounting. Data and Reporting Partner with the Data and Engineering teams to streamline and automate reporting efforts. Establish data governance rules around key inputs into financial systems and drive accountability and validation of key data sources. User and Change Management: Oversee Administration and maintenance of user access and security roles within Financial Systems, ensuring appropriate access controls are in place. Adopt IT General Control best practices for system administration in a public company SOX compliant environment.
