Job Responsibilities:

  • Review medical records to ensure accurate coding per CMS, federal, and state guidelines.
  • Conduct coding audits, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with clinical and compliance teams to resolve issues.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on pediatric and Medicaid coding, providing education and follow-up audits.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional fee coding and auditing experience, specializing in E/M and outpatient coding.
  • CPC, CCS, and CPMA certifications required; telehealth and Medicaid experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, and EMR software like Athena Health.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary $75,000 - $90,000 with annual bonus incentive and equity purchase program eligibility.
  • Competitive benefits include medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, 401(k) with 4% match, and life insurance.
  • 20 days PTO, 10 company holidays, 2 floating holidays, and paid new parent leave.
