About the Team:
- The Tax Controversy team produces excellent audit outcomes and provides actionable feedback.
- You will work alongside a Senior Manager and Manager, reporting to the controversy lead/tax counsel.
About the Role:
- Be the go-to expert for answering audit questions with data, turning large datasets into persuasive answers.
- Build expertise on unsettled sales and use tax issues and lead AI tooling adoption.
- Partner with Tax Tech and manage multiple workstreams from simple requests to multi-month projects.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of state and local tax controversy experience, with strong data analysis skills.
- Thorough understanding of sales and use taxes, including marketplace facilitator laws.
- Fluent in Excel and Alteryx, and enthusiastic user of modern AI tools.
