Pediatrician (Obesity Specialist)

About the Role:

• Work within an integrated care model alongside physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and psychologists.
• Pioneer a new program for pediatric obesity and overweight management with a tech-enabled, evidence-based approach.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual intake and follow-up appointments for patients ages 5-17.
• Manage anti-obesity medications, order and interpret labs, and lead shared medical appointment groups.
• Collaborate with behavioral health colleagues and nursing staff on care coordination.

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice medicine in Texas with active DEA registration and board certification in Pediatrics.
• At least 5 years of patient care experience and a deep interest in lifestyle medicine and cultural responsiveness.
• Comfortable with telemedicine tools and excited about joining a fast-growing startup.
