Job Description
Seeking a Java Developer for a fully remote position to develop and maintain internet browser-based applications that integrate disparate systems for a Federal Government agency. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining technical documentation, writing secure code adhering to Java best practices, and analyzing user needs to develop software solutions that optimize operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years related experience in secure Java code, JBoss Enterprise Application Server, MongoDB, Linux, Eclipse, Git, Maven, Java, Java Script, ThymeLeaf/Spring Boot, Spring MVC, HTML 5/CSS 3, and Structured Query Language (SQL)/SQL Developer PL/SQL. Bonus points for experience with Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, and Rational CLM. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Public Trust/MBI (Highly Preferred), or have the ability to obtain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI).
