Senior Software Engineer (AI-Native), Circle Expansion

About The Team:

• Building the next frontier of meaningful connection beyond the core family circle.
• Focused on deepening Life360’s peace-of-mind platform for various member segments.
• Redesigning team workflows around AI, treating it as a first-class collaborator.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and build high-quality features that serve aging parents, pre-teen wearable users and community groups.
• Work with AI (Claude Code) as a first-class collaborator, to generate code and tests, verify results, and perform reviews.
• Help define and codify AI-Native engineering practices for the Circle Expansion team and mentor team members on these practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience building high-quality, consumer-scale software products and at least 1 year of hands-on experience with LLMs.
• Strong proficiency in mobile development (iOS or Android) - understand great mobile UX.
• Deep experience with agentic workflows, prompt engineering, context window management, and MCP/function calling.
