Staff Software Engineer - Cloud Platform — Kubernetes, Hyperscalers & Distributed Systems

What you will do:

• Own design and delivery of significant components and core subsystems of our Kubernetes platform, from design through production operation.
• Turn loosely defined platform problems into designs, plans, and shipped software with limited scaffolding.
• Contribute to distributed workload architecture and spend most time hands-on in code.

Who you are:

• Built and operated Kubernetes platform infrastructure in production at meaningful scale, with 8+ years building production software.
• Strong Go programming skills with production Kubernetes controller or operator experience.
• Hands-on depth with at least one major hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP) and its compute, networking, and IAM primitives.

How you will work:

• Partner with senior staff and principal engineers to align work with wider platform architecture.
• Mentor engineers earlier in their careers.
• Help run a platform serving regulated markets, where compliance constraints like FedRAMP shape design choices.
