Senior Mechanical Engineer

As Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for; Develop, test, and lead mechanical designs, including trade studies, concept and detailed designs, BOMs, drawings, engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and associated documentation. Lead the Mechanical Engineering team within a project, serving as the primary resource for technical leadership, oversight, and development. Identify and recommend training or performance improvement opportunities as needed. Ensure technical accuracy and maintain scoped product or system features. Define work breakdown structures from initial specifications and/or derived requirements.Track team progress and efficiency to support project schedule and budget. Implement product designs using engineering principles and standard tools. Utilize analysis tools to verify design concepts. Assemble, test, and evaluate prototypes for functionality and performance. Anticipate technical uncertainties and identify design and product risks with appropriate mitigations. Identify scope changes and propose resolution options to project leaders. Prepare and maintain engineering documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Complete tasks within estimated timeframes (+/- 10%) and predict potential overruns before they occur.
