About the Role:
- Lead a team of backend engineers building HighLevel's Payments Platform, covering checkout, subscriptions, and payment orchestration.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, Finance, and Infrastructure teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable payment experiences.
What You'll Lead:
- Team Leadership: Drive hiring, mentoring, performance management, and career development for the team.
- Platform Delivery: Own execution of the Payments roadmap, including sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery reviews.
Technical Excellence:
- Establish engineering standards for API design, code quality, testing, and operational readiness.
- Champion SLO ownership, incident management, and disaster recovery practices.
Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate engineering tradeoffs and delivery updates to executive stakeholders.
- Align multiple teams around shared architectural decisions and business objectives.
