Revenue Accountant

Assist with the revenue recognition process for all streams – perpetual, maintenance, subscription and services, and related processes such as cost of sales. Complete month-end procedures, such as general ledger closing and account reconciliations. Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue in compliance with ASC 606. Understand revenue recognition adjustments and perform SSP studies in accordance with ASC 606 as needed. Analyze and forecast monthly/quarterly performance of revenue, including recurring revenue metrics and cost of sales. Review customer contracts to ensure accurate and consistent application of revenue recognition policies. Identify and implement process improvements, including automation of revenue recognition, deferred revenue schedules. Create and maintain reports for senior management. Understand the inventory fulfillment process to ensure products are tracked and delivered. Perform additional duties as requested.
