What the role involves:
- Building and maintaining production machine learning pipelines for feature engineering, model training, scoring, and monitoring.
- Developing decisioning and optimization logic for next-best-action selection and resource allocation.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on design reviews, code reviews, and production support.
Required skills and experience:
- 5+ years in machine learning engineering or related roles with strong Python, PySpark, and SQL skills.
- Experience with Databricks, MLflow, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of optimization concepts and ability to translate business rules into production logic.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with personalization, recommendation systems, or optimization tools like OR-Tools.
- Background in healthcare or regulated environments with HIPAA and auditability.
- Familiarity with Kafka, streaming data, or production observability tooling.
