Job Description

The American Heart Association’s Internship Program provides college students an opportunity for hands-on experience in various facets for individuals interested in gaining work experience with a non-profit, voluntary health organization. Tasks could include things like literature reviews, development of qualitative and quantitative evaluation instruments, supporting implementation of surveys and focus groups/interviews, basic qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and contributing to written evaluation reports and presentations. Interns should be currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health, Community Health, Statistics, or a related field of study. Effective oral, written and presentation communication skills are a must. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and work must be performed inside the United States.
