Job Description
The Senior Regional EHS Manager will provide leadership and direction to assure that the assigned locations’, both plant and field service/installation, management staff and employee populations are knowledgeable and compliant in the applicable areas of Environmental Health & Safety. The position will champion projects, and activities to achieve location priorities and company values. This role reports directly to the Business Unit Director of EHS.
The role involves interacting with local teams, assessing and developing local talent, ensuring safe work policies, and conducting site assessments. It requires developing and implementing policies to ensure compliance with EHS regulations, frequent travel to assigned locations for coaching and inspection, and maintaining an EHS compliance calendar. The manager will lead EHS-related committees, ensure regulatory event reporting, and provide technical guidance for EHS regulatory agency inspections.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring corrective action plans, serving as an internal auditor, analyzing EHS data trends, and managing sustainability actions. The manager will assist local leaders with the usage of the Company Corporate EHS Management Database systems (e.g., Origami), monitor the effectiveness of EHS related corrective and preventive actions, and support corporate functional groups such as HR, Risk Management and Logistics.
