Physical Security Solution Architect

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design comprehensive physical security architectures and produce technical documentation such as BOMs and SOWs for customer approval.
• Partner with sales teams to scope opportunities, assess needs, and deliver solution demonstrations and presentations to stakeholders.
• Provide architectural oversight during system installation and act as a technical escalation point for integration and performance issues.

Required Competencies:

• Over 5 years of pre-sales, customer-facing engineering experience in physical security technologies like access control and video surveillance.
• Proficiency in designing, configuring, and engineering large-scale security projects with intermediate skills in Excel and MS Word.
• Strong ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate complex technical concepts effectively to various audiences.

Work and Travel Expectations:

• Expected work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
• This position requires no regular travel, though occasional travel for client meetings or industry events may be necessary.
• The role involves regular computer use for tasks such as typing, reading screens, and participating in remote communications.
