Manager, Provider Credentialing

Reporting to the Director, Credentialing & Enrollment, the Manager, Credentialing is responsible for all aspects of the credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging processes for all providers in Privia’s high performance medical group. Assures compliance with all health plan requirements, manages activities of the department to ensure compliance with policies/procedures and regulations. Maintains knowledge of the credentialing database, provides support to coordinators and the director, and reviews processes for the onboarding department. The candidate will work with technical staff to develop tools, oversee special projects, manage Credentialing Specialists, and interact with various levels of management and physician staff. They will also maintain up-to-date data, assist in managing information flow, coordinate reports, and track statistics. The position requires 5+ years’ experience in managed care credentialing and skills in problem solving, flexibility, and compliance with HIPAA rules.
