About the Role:
- Lead the development of the AIOS Agent SDK, the foundation for world-class agents across the company.
- Own the technical direction for agent architecture, model strategy, evals, and production reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and scale the Applied AI team, inheriting one engineer and expanding to five exceptional people within the first year.
- Ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operation of AI systems handling $100k daily revenue autonomously.
- Own model economics and provider relationships, managing ~$200k monthly model spend.
What We're Looking For:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of building and shipping production agentic systems.
- Deep expertise in agent architecture, evaluation systems, and consequential action safety.
- Strong engineering leadership with the ability to set direction, raise quality bars, and remain hands-on.
