Freelance Subtitler – Mandarin (Simplified)

As a Mandarin (Simplified) Subtitler, you will be responsible for the creation, editing, and delivery of Mandarin (Simplified) subtitles for a variety of MrBeast YouTube videos. You will handle all steps of the subtitling process and ensure prompt delivery of subtitles to your Language Coordinator. This role will report directly to a Language Coordinator, also a native Mandarin speaker and a brand ambassador for MrBeast. Create subtitles in Mandarin (Simplified), ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and compliance with language rules. Receive feedback from Language Coordinator and effectively implement feedback into revised subtitles. Meet tight deadlines while subtitling multiple projects and respond to Language Coordinators’ QC feedback within 24 hours of receipt. Assist in creating localized metadata for regional audiences where necessary. Maintain clear and timely communication directly with your Language Coordinator, studio partners, and CG Leadership. Build familiarity with the Beast brand.
