Role & Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, team coaching, and development in a high-volume environment.
- Maintain the monthly close calendar, record transactions, and review journal entries and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare financial statements, analyze results for FP&A, and ensure timely annual 1099 and regulatory reporting.
Audit, Compliance & Improvement:
- Support external tax preparers, coordinate annual financial, 401(k), bank, and insurance audits, and provide documentation to auditors.
- Research new GAAP guidance, document accounting processes for scalability, and identify opportunities for standardization and improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support financial operations and assist the Senior Director of Finance and CFO with special projects.
Qualifications & Environment:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in accounting or business, 4-6 years of accounting experience, 1+ year of people management, and strong GAAP knowledge.
- Preferred: CPA certification and experience in Professional Services or Managed Services environments, with skills in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
