Design Engineer

About the Role:

• This position combines frontend engineering with design craft, from initial Figma concepts to production.
• You'll make complex mortgage workflows intuitive, accessible, and visually consistent.

What You'll Do:

• Own the design and implementation of features using React and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library with shadcn/ui.
• Create accessible, production-quality components with proper ARIA, keyboard, and focus management.

What We're Looking For:

• Typically 5 to 10+ years of relevant experience in software engineering and interface design.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, GraphQL, Apollo Client, Turborepo, and Figma.
• Strong attention to UI details and a commitment to accessible, polished user experiences.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range of $150,000 to $350,000 USD annually, with visa sponsorship available.
• Fully remote work with no specified primary city or region.
