Role Overview:
- The Datastore team builds the foundational data model and API for brain data collected from clinical studies.
- This role focuses on backend systems for data infrastructure: PostgreSQL, Kafka, and GraphQL.
What Success Looks Like:
- Partner with product managers and scientific stakeholders to translate requirements into new integrations and services.
- Draft RFCs to lead complex feature discovery and technical design phases.
- Hold a high bar for correctness when data moves between systems.
What You Will Bring:
- 5+ years of backend development experience with at least 2 years on data platforms.
- Strong SQL skills and production experience with PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or equivalent event streaming.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range for this role is $150,000 – $170,000.
- Total compensation includes equity, PTO, and other benefits.
