The Role:
- Design and scale backend data systems for the Datastore: PostgreSQL models, Kafka pipelines, and GraphQL APIs.
- Lead complex system architecture and own dataset snapshot pipelines.
What Success Looks Like:
- Lead design for complex projects, backing decisions with data.
- Mentor engineers and draft RFCs to align on technical decisions.
What You Will Bring:
- 7+ years backend development, strong SQL/PostgreSQL, Kafka, Python or Julia.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and a collaborative, remote-friendly mindset.
