Role Overview:
- Join the Datastore team at the heart of Beacon's platform, defining data models and APIs for brain data.
- Lead design and scaling of backend systems: PostgreSQL, Kafka pipelines, and GraphQL.
What Success Looks Like:
- Lead architecture for complex systems, ensuring data integrity and scalability.
- Mentor engineers, drive technical decisions, and improve team practices.
Requirements:
- 7+ years backend experience, 3+ years in data platforms.
- Strong SQL and PostgreSQL expertise; experience with Kafka or similar; proficiency in Julia/Python; GraphQL and TypeScript/JavaScript knowledge.
