Release Automation Engineer

CI/CD Pipeline Engineering & Ownership:

• Designs and owns CI/CD pipeline infrastructure across the Engineering organization using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Develops reusable pipeline templates and shared task libraries for standardized CI/CD patterns.
• Implements pipeline caching, parallelization, and optimization strategies to minimize build cycle times.

Release Automation & Promotion Logic:

• Engineers automated artifact promotion workflows across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
• Builds automated release gates integrating quality signals from tests, security scans, and performance benchmarks.
• Integrates Flyway database migrations and LaunchDarkly feature flags into the automated release workflow.

Observability, Metrics & Continuous Improvement:

• Instruments release pipeline with dashboards and alerting for real-time visibility into deployment success rates.
• Tracks and reports DORA metrics: deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, and mean time to recovery.
• Conducts pipeline health retrospectives and drives prioritized improvements to reduce automation gaps.
