Engineering Manager - AI Applications

Role Impact:

• Drive strategic AI projects shaping Optro's future capabilities and accelerating product feature delivery.
• Act as a force multiplier, enabling product teams to leverage AI infrastructure more efficiently and smarter.
• Own the integration layer between the AI Platform and product organization, including internal AI assistants and agent-driven workflows.

Leadership Responsibilities:

• Hire, retain, mentor, and build capabilities within a high-performing engineering team committed to modern AI best practices.
• Champion agile practices and AI-first approaches, ensuring clarity and efficient delivery across the organization.
• Develop strong relationships with Product, QA, Design, Customer Support, and GTM partners to deliver best-in-class experiences.

Technical Expertise:

• Requires 5+ years of engineering experience with 2+ years in management, shipping production AI or software systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern server-side development; familiarity with TypeScript/Node.js is beneficial.
• Solid understanding of modern agent frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, LangChain) and deploying reliable AI workflows in production.
