Responsible for ensuring technical excellence, fostering team health, and aligning engineering execution with business strategy across your domain. Work closely with Product, Design, and Technology leadership to shape technical direction, drive architectural decisions, and build high-performing engineering organizations.
We’re looking for a senior engineering leader for our Infrastructure team. In this roles, you’ll balance technical leadership and people management as you drive the development of impactful platform changes and foster a high-performing, collaborative engineering culture. You’ll work closely with every engineering team to create a foundation for our upcoming products.
Lead the team, set the technical vision, and drive strategic decisions for our core product. Balance hands-on technical work with high-level planning, similar to a CTO within your product’s scope. Ultimately, the team’s success is your responsibility building and maintaining a strong team is key. You’ll be working directly with our current Engineering Managers and CTO.
As Head of Engineering in the Americas, you’ll work closely with the VP of Engineering and the Head of EMEA Engineering to continue scaling Ashby's unique culture. You’ll manage our remote team of 20 engineers and 2 EMs, and grow that team to 40 engineers and 5-6 EMs over the next year. As engineers, Ashby is used to tooling that makes them better at what they do.
