Job Description
The intern will assist in coordinating events conducting research on public policy and emerging technology. Brookings scholars affiliated with the Initiative work on a wide-range of tech policy issues and projects, from to automation the future of work, disinformation campaigns, the geopolitics of tech, and more. Interns will be responsible for a range of event management, research and publication tasks in support of ongoing projects in the Initiative. Applicants should identify specific topics of interest in their cover letter.
Undergraduate students in their junior or senior year, or recent college graduates working towards a degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, social science, public policy, or related fields, etc.). Applicants must have excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills, strong organizational skills, experience working independently with little direction, and a passion to learn and adapt in a fast-paced office environment.
