Immigration Attorney

Position Summary:

• A high-volume, fast-paced immigration law firm seeks a knowledgeable Immigration Attorney with at least 3 years of experience.
• Full-time or contract roles available; passionate about helping individuals and families navigate the U.S. immigration process.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file immigration petitions such as family-based, employment-based, adjustment of status, naturalization, NACARA, TPS, asylum, waivers, and visas.
• Represent clients in non-litigation appearances before USCIS, ICE, CBP, and immigration courts.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather documentation and provide case updates.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage case deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Technologically proficient with immigration law platforms and case management systems.

Education & Experience:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and an active bar license in Virginia or Maryland.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in immigration law.
