About the Role:
- Lead Anthropic’s engagement with state and local governments across the Southern United States.
- Advance AI policy, legislation, and regulation that supports Anthropic’s mission.
- Build coalitions to advance policy outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Execute Anthropic’s state affairs strategy across Southern states.
- Build and maintain relationships with state legislators and governors’ offices.
- Cultivate relationships with governors’ offices and executive branch leadership.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in state government affairs, political strategy, or legislative roles.
- Have existing relationships with state leaders in Southern states.
- Have experience engaging with governors’ offices and attorneys general on policy matters.
