Engineering Manager

Team and Impact:

• Lead a team of senior engineers operating Docker Build Cloud and Hub's build systems, building next-gen secure build infrastructure.
• Own delivery for an ambiguous, high-stakes roadmap including time-bound commitments to regulated and federal customers.
• Get team process and mechanics right, partnering closely with Product to turn strategy into a roadmap.

Technical Leadership:

• Stay deep in technical work: active in design discussions and code review, hands-on in code where it helps.
• Be a real part of setting technical direction alongside engineers leading different parts of the system.
• Hold a high bar for engineering excellence and raise the team's security hygiene.

Operational Ownership:

• Be accountable for reliability and operational excellence of team's production services, including a healthy on-call rotation.
• Own growth, development, and performance of each engineer, and hire to strengthen the team.
• Work across product, sales, commercial, legal, and security orgs to align the team and shield it from churn.
