Database Administrator (DISA)

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and tune Oracle database instances, define and manage database security standards, and lead troubleshooting of database-related outages.
• Test Oracle security patches and version upgrades, validate database security posture against ACAS and HBSS results, and complete STIG checklist reviews.
• Support data design and migration of legacy contract data into the new system, including source-to-target mapping, transformation scripting, and reconciliation.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years as a production Oracle Database Administrator on a currently supported Oracle release.
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL, working knowledge of MySQL or MariaDB SQL, and hands-on data migration experience.
• Oracle backup and recovery using RMAN, performance tuning using AWR and ASH, and Oracle Database STIG implementation in a DoD Risk Management Framework environment.
