HL7 Analyst

Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, build, test, and deploy HL7 interfaces to support integrations between all Cadwell modalities and customer EMR/EHR.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders during pre-implementation discovery to document interface requirements, message specifications, and data mapping.
• Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including interface design documents, test plans, validation reports, and go-live checklists.

Qualifications:

• Exemplary listening and collaboration skills with ability to work cross-functionally across clinical, technical, and project teams.
• In-depth understanding of HL7 message structures, segments, data types, and encoding rules.
• Experience with interface engine platforms (e.g., Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, Ensemble/HealthShare).

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on HL7 interface development and implementation experience required.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts) required.
• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
