Role Overview:
- Support sourcing and strategic management of external vendors for clinical development programs.
- Partner closely with Development Operations and study teams on vendor contracting, governance, and relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary Development Outsourcing lead for assigned studies and programs.
- Lead vendor sourcing, RFP processes, bid defenses, and contract negotiations.
- Monitor vendor performance and drive issue resolution and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 8-12 years of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, CRO, or contract research experience.
- Strong understanding of clinical development and outsourced service delivery models.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and oversight.
Location and Salary:
- Fully remote role with occasional travel for team and company events.
- Anticipated salary range is $175,000 - $190,000, dependent on experience and geography.
