About the project:
- Work closely with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to design and implement backend solutions in Java and Spring Boot on AWS.
- Be part of a global delivery team, taking ownership of complex backend features, contributing to architectural decisions, and driving Agile best practices.
What you'll do:
- Model and evolve relational data stores, write performant SQL, and manage schema migrations in production environments.
- Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs, applying versioning, contract testing, and clear integration patterns.
- Implement observability practices across services: structured logging, metrics, tracing, and actionable alerting.
What makes you a great fit:
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience and 3+ years with Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem.
- Proven experience designing, building, and operating microservices in production.
- Working experience with AWS core services, containerization, and Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
