About the Role:
- Senior transactional attorney for complex affordable housing matters.
- Support developers from engagement through closing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead 4% and 9% LIHTC transactions and tax-exempt bond financing.
- Draft and negotiate partnership agreements and loan documents.
- Supervise associates and paralegals on deal teams.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor and 8+ years of LIHTC transactional experience.
- Strong knowledge of Section 42 and Section 142 rules.
- Active law license and New York admission or willingness to obtain.
Compensation & Location:
- Base salary $300,000 to $400,000 annually.
- Remote within the United States with periodic NYC/Buffalo office visits.
