Remote Fire Camp Operations Driver

The Remote Fire Camp Operations Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable and on-schedule transportation for our staff supporting fire camp operations, while providing support in other areas as needed within the fire basecamp operations.  You must be comfortable working in a remote bush camp setting.  Bush camps are often hours away from any town, with limited to no cell reception and Wi-Fi.  Must be comfortable sleeping in a tent and living in the outdoors as accommodations can range from a lodge to a tent depending on the site. Key responsibilities include providing safe and timely transportation of staff, supplies, or equipment between designated pick up areas to and from, and within the fire basecamp operations. You will conduct daily vehicle inspections, maintain digital vehicle logs, and report deficiencies immediately, ensuring the vehicles clean, fueled, and stocked with required safety/emergency equipment. You will be expected to support general labor tasks around the fire camp when not driving, as needed.
