Technical Leadership:
- Make architecture, infrastructure, release, and priority decisions while explaining tradeoffs to stakeholders.
- Own the full production infrastructure: databases, Linux fleets, backups, DR, and migration to OCI.
- Lead modernization of legacy Forms and Reports to APEX and implement modern development workflows.
Team Building and Coaching:
- Assess the existing team, coach those who can grow, make hard calls when needed, and hire to fill gaps.
- Build a team that does not depend on any single person, including yourself, by documenting standards and runbooks.
- Introduce and embed AI coding agents across the team to improve productivity and quality.
Operational Excellence:
- Reduce operational risk by replacing ageing infrastructure, decommissioning a colo, and hardening DR processes.
- Own the release pipeline end-to-end and decide what to keep, replace, and in what order.
- Build alerting and on-call rotation to ensure uptime for ERP customers who run their business on the system daily.

System Dynamics (SDC) builds DYNAMIC 3i, an ERP for distribution and manufacturing businesses with about 36 modules. SDC is a Beacon company, which acquires vertical software companies and provides real engineering leadership, with a small team culture focused on hands-on technical ownership.
