Job Description

The Payment/Payroll Analyst / Clerical Associate will join a team which is dedicated to ensuring all staff are paid on time and correctly. The Payment/Payroll Analyst plays a pivotal role in identifying errors, reporting errors to the proper unit, and ensuring corrections are made to the employee’s record. The primary responsibilities of this role include: Review Payroll reports in the Payroll Information system (PI) and the Report Management and Distribution System (RMDS) to ensure accurate bi-weekly payments to staff. Review Leave Status reports to process accurate payments to staff on extended leave. Compute managerial and non-managerial lump sum payments. Compute retro-active payments to staff as a result of title changes, salary adjustments or contractual general wage increases. Audit payments to staff, identifying overpayments, processing recoupment. Collaborate with various units such as Timekeeping, Employment Services and Recruitment. Assist with the batching and distribution of paychecks. Provide customer service to ACS employees by responding to payroll inquiries, researching questions, and bringing issues to resolution.
