- Design standardized accounting controls and policy frameworks across all portfolio companies.
- Establish month-end close procedures, banking policies, and acquisition accounting standards.
Technical Accounting & Audit Readiness:
- Own and draft technical accounting memos and present positions to external auditors.
- Serve as the go-to resource for various ASC standards to ensure compliance and reduce audit adjustments.
Deal Support & OpCo Onboarding:
- Build a systematic pre-deal accounting review process for agreements and proactively flag accounting implications.
- Create a repeatable 90-day onboarding framework for newly acquired portfolio companies.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and develop the headquarters accounting team while coaching portfolio company accounting staff of varying levels.
