Senior Software Engineer, Frontend Platform

About the Role:

• We're hiring an engineer to own the frontend platform at Roo, including design system, shared UI architecture, and developer tooling.
• You'll identify and build the highest-leverage improvements, from AI integrations to platform modernization.

Responsibilities:

• Own the long-term technical direction of Roo's frontend platform across web and mobile.
• Partner with Product and Design to evolve the design system and improve developer experience.
• Lead platform initiatives like framework upgrades, React Native modernization, and migration to a v2 design system.

Qualifications:

• Significant experience building production software with deep expertise in React and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and design systems.
• Ability to operate independently and drive your own technical roadmap.
