Senior OpenStack Engineer

Project:

• Join an internal OpenStack team designing, deploying, and operating private and sovereign cloud platforms for enterprise clients in Western Europe.
• Work on environments ranging from multi-region platforms across several data centres to compact telco and edge clusters.
• Own the architecture, operate the platform, and work directly with client architects.

Position:

• Own the platform architecture across control plane, compute, storage, and network, including high availability and resource sizing.
• Deploy and upgrade the platform with Kolla-Ansible, integrate storage, networking, identity, and load balancing, and set up metrics and logging.
• Act as third-line escalation, lead root cause analysis, support pre-sales, and provide technical guidance to the team.

Qualifications:

• At least 6 years in infrastructure, virtualisation, or cloud platforms, with 3+ years OpenStack in production.
• Strong command of core OpenStack services and deployment experience with Kolla-Ansible.
• Advanced Linux administration, KVM/libvirt, cloud networking, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
