Software Engineer - Moderator Tools

The Wikimedia Foundation is looking for a product software engineer to join the Moderator Tools team, reporting to product engineering management. As a product engineer, you will be responsible for building out components for our product user experiences. In this role, you will work in a remote environment, where teamwork and a consensus-oriented approach are valued. You will write open-source code for collaborative experiences supporting over half a billion pages accessed per day. On the Moderator Tools team, projects improve patrolling experiences while maintaining other projects that support moderators and editors. You are responsible for building new functionality primarily for patrolling interfaces, collaborating with product managers, designers, and other teams, and writing user interfaces using JavaScript, PHP, VueJS, and CSS. You will also proactively address security and code review feedback.
