Finance Accountant

Lead and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of the Mexican entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with external accountants. Manage and support external audits and internal controls, ensuring compliance with Mexican regulations, especially for the regulated entity, and owning and delivering all regulatory reporting obligations for the regulated financial institution. Collaborate with the operations team to review and validate the reconciliation of direct debit operations, ensuring the accuracy and proper reflection in the accounting books. Drive improvements in reconciliation processes by providing oversight and guidance to the operations team, ensuring seamless alignment between operational and financial records. Oversee accounts payable, expense management, and billing processes, ensuring smooth coordination with People and Revenue teams. Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and variance analysis. Perform cost/managerial accounting tasks, including data labeling and analysis for decision-making.
