As a member of the Risk Operations team, you will perform detailed analysis of high-risk transactions via real-time queues to identify prohibited activity across our product suite, flagging and making decisions on those accounts, and communicating with account holders. Day to day, you will manage a team of Risk Operations agents responsible for handling customer disputes and reviewing accounts flagged for review for potential fraud or other suspicious behavior. You will communicate with customers who have filed dispute reports, review and evaluate documentation received from customers, and make decisions on dispute validity on escalated dispute claims.
You will also flag accounts with prohibited activity, review and make decisions on flagged accounts, develop parameters for account reviews, collaborate with the Product team to establish product and internal tooling improvements as needed, and collaborate with the Compliance team to flag account activity that needs to be reported to FinCEN. The role entails establishing parameters for opening new accounts based on fraud score and history, communicating with users who are unverified due to a KYC issue, and conducting Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews including ID verification submissions and additional documentation provided by customers. Monitoring risk losses and other KPIs from transaction disputes and canceled deposits, monitoring fraud flagging and review metrics for accuracy, and identifying opportunities to improve flagging and review criteria are also key components.
