Responsibilities:

  • Ensure alignment with product vision through collaboration and frequent communication with technical leadership and product owner.
  • Lead a team to understand, adhere to and consistently implement the software development lifecycle.
  • Execute department processes and standards to ensure alignment across the organization.

Team Leadership:

  • Assess employee and team performance against established quality metrics; track team performance against established metrics and hold direct reports accountable for meeting defined performance standards; provide feedback to employees
  • Assist with identifying and developing future leaders
  • Operate as a thought leader among the team; contribute significantly to the overall growth and quality of the department

Problem Solving:

  • Serve as an escalation point for issues; provide guidance, resolve issues as necessary, and remove obstacles for team
  • Continuously improve processes through effective communication and acting as a motivator of change within the department
  • Collaborate with team members and cross departmental stakeholders in creation, coordination and achievement of mutual goals
