Cloud Release Train Engineer

Provide technical support and guidance to the USMC Cloud engineering team. This role will benefit from demonstrated experience managing and delivering cloud based services as part of an information technology portfolio, as well as prior experience working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) in leadership and coordination roles. The primary responsibility will be to help guide and optimize portfolio activities under agile release and solution trains. The Cloud Release Train Engineer will: Understand the composition and delivery of cloud based services. Use management, communication, and coaching skills to identify constraints and help guide successful resolution at all levels of the development organization. Use agile management tools to monitor agile development activities. Develop, communicate and employ metrics to communicate and optimize agile development performance. Act as a SAFe release train engineer in all capacities. Be able to communicate development activities of the technology portfolio for stakeholder audiences. Participate in centers of excellence to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
